Fish Fry/Bake Sale & Gospel Sing
Come and get a delicious fish plate for $10 and support our Outreach Ministries. We are so blessed to be able to give back to this community. Every dollar will go towards helping spread the gospel of Jesus Christ. We also have lots and lots of yummy bakes goods and treats! We will also have a Gospel Sing featuring The Hutchinson Family.
Youth Cornhole Tournament Fundraiser
Call the office at 251-649-1800 to reserve/pay for your spot. You do not want to miss out! We will have hotdogs, chips, dessert, and drinks. *BRING YOUR BOARDS* The cost is $40 for a 2 man team to compete. We will have a prizes for our top two teams!
Homecoming
Homecoming: A time to remember and a time to rejoice! Come and join us on Sunday, September 21st at 10 am, for our Homecoming Service. We will have a potluck/covered dish lunch and fellowship directly after service. We can't wait to worship with you!
VBS- Yee Haw Celebrating God's Greatest Gift
Come and help us celebrate God's greatest gift! Children ages 4yrs old-6th grade. We will have a light supper at 5:30 pm then VBS will be from 6:00pm-8:00pm. We can't wait to see you!
Junk-In-Your-Trunk Youth Yard Sale
We are hosting a yard sale for our youth fundraiser. They have sponsored two children overseas to help support them monthly. If you purchase a parking spot for $15 car/small SUV, $20 Truck/Large SUV, $25 Van/Trailer you receive all monies for your sales. Family Easter Celebration
On Saturday, April 12th at 10 am, we will have a Family Easter Celebration here at Wilmer Methodist Church. We will have the Easter story, crafts, and an egg hunt for children that are toddler age to 12 yr old's. We are also providing lunch. All you need is your basket! Come and celebrate with us!
Holiday Market
Come and join us this Saturday, Dec. 7th from 9am-2pm. We will have lots of homemade gifts, ornaments, chicken and seafood gumbo, and lots of goodies and treats. All of the proceeds from the Holiday Market will go to help hurricane victims.
Fall Festival
Come and join us at Wilmer Methodist Church at 6 pm on October 30th for our Annual Fall Festival. We will have our trunk or treat, games, lots of candy, chili, popcorn and drinks!
Revival!!!
Revival is here! Come and be with us October 6th-9th at 6:00 pm! Rev. Brad McClain, one of the "Cowboy Preachers" from the great state of Texas and God's Horseback Gospel on Facebook, will be our evangelist. For over 30 years, Brad served as a preacher, teacher, church-planter, conference evangelist, consultant, retreat leader, associate pastor and men’s devotional leader for various ministries across the U.S. We will also have special music and other special guests each night. You won't want to miss it!
VBS-Seekers in Sneakers
July 22nd -July 26th from 5:30pm-8pm we will be having VBS, Seekers in Sneakers. In this interactive VBS children will learn to use their investigative skills to discover Jesus. We are looking forward to an exciting time!
Welcome Jean Watson!
Based in Michigan, Jean Watson is a singer, violinist, author, and speaker who is passionate about sharing the love of Jesus through words and music. Jean travels in full-time ministry in the US and Europe as well as hosting a radio show on United Christian Broadcasting Radio Ireland. She has recorded with some of Nashville’s finest musicians including Michael W. Smith, Russ Taff, and David Meece and has appeared on TBN’s “Praise the Lord” and CBN’s “700 Club”.
Ladies Lunch by the Bay
Ladies, you are cordially invited to the Dovin’s Bay House on June 1st for a special lunch. We will leave the church at 10:30 am and return t 3:00 pm. If you would like to drive and need the address, please call the office. Check your email for the menu being provided and opportunities to bring condiments. Be sure to wear comfortable clothes for the outdoors and bring your bathing suit if you would like to swim. Let’s have some fun!
Ladies Meeting with Pasco House
All ladies are invited to join us Tuesday, May 28th at 10:30 am in the fellowship hall. We will host a guest speaker from the PASCO House in Semmes. She will be sharing about their ministry and needs. Our ladies fellowship group will learn ways where we can support these families as our local Mission Outreach. Please come and listen, ask questions, and see where we can get involved.
